The website is live and that means so are our projects. Financing has officially kicked off for the New York noir "Joy de V." A contemporary catastrophe about a man and a woman. A con-artist whose wife (who happens to be seven months pregnant) vanishes one morning into thin air, after no fight and for no apparent particular reason. The same morning she disappears, he discovers that his most consistent con and source of income, disability checks from a faked madness, will run out if he doesn’t do something soon to prove he is insane. The film begins here. And from here it takes our hapless charlatan through the labyrinth of New York and the maze of his mind as he struggles to face his circumstances and tries to track down his love.
